Accreditation Information


 

Accreditation for Program Thursday/Friday April 23rd & 24th (Except First Lite Symposium)

PHARMACISTS: Pharmacists in attendance who complete an evaluation form can earn up to 0.3CEUs (3 contact hours) for Thursday and 0.75CEUs (7.5 contact hours) for Friday.  Statements of credit will be available within 4 to 6 weeks of the program.
Accreditation:
The University Of Connecticut School Of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Pharmacists who attend the knowledge-based activity and submit an online evaluation form can earn up to 0.3CEUs (3 contact hours) for Thursday and 0.65CEUs (6.5 contact hours) for Friday.  Statements of credit will be available within 4 to 6 weeks of the program.

NURSE PRACTITIONERS/NURSES: An application has been submitted to the National Conference for Gerontological Nurse Practitioners. The National Conference of Gerontological Nurse Practitioners is an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Accreditation for: First Lite Symposium: Friday April 24th 7:00 am-8:00 am

PHARMACISTS: The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program (ACPE # 203-999-08-070-L01-P) is accredited for 1.0 Contact Hour (0.1 CEU).
To receive pharmacy continuing education, participants must attend the entire program, sign the attendance sheet, and complete the program evaluation online. Participants will complete evaluations and print statements of credit through www.SCOUP.net, ASCP’s online CE Center.

NURSE PRACTITIONERS/NURSES: AKH Inc. is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. AKH Inc. designates this educational activity for 1.0 contact hour (0.1 CEU). AKH Inc. is a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP12070 for 1.0 contact hour. Nurse participants must attend the entire presentation for credit as no partial credit will be awarded.
